Synopsis[]

Sam discovers that Santa Claus is vacationing in Swallow Falls and drags Flint along to pitch their Christmas ideas to the jolly old elf.

Plot[]

Flint and Tim are busy decorating for Christmas. Sam reminds Flint of the "situation" from the previous July.

Faced with broiling heat, Mayor Shelbourne marketed rotting sardine scraps as slushies. In the lab, Sam announced that she saw Santa Claus in town and tells Flint that he could try convincing Santa to give kids his inventions on Christmas morning.

Sam is overly excited to meet Santa, who awkwardly tries to tell her he's Sandra DeClausio instead. Sam sees through the lie, and Santa reveals he's on vacation in Swallow Falls - the one place Lobster Claus convinced him no one would know him and bother him. Santa decides to leave, disgruntled. Flint feels bad for ruining his vacation while Sam feels bad that they didn't get a Christmas wish.

Meanwhile, Mayor Shelbourne is struggling to make sales with the rotting sardines. When Brent overhears Sam mention that Santa's goal is to fulfill everyone's dreams, word reaches Shelbourne, who realizes Santa could help him sell the spoiled fish.

The episode ends with Mayor Shelbourne arresting Santa and bringing him to the cannery.
