Bananostriches are one of the many Foodimals in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. They are bananas with ostrich-like legs and long bill-like beaks. Like bananas, they appear to be green at birth. As they age, they slowly become brightly yellow colored, they obtain spots like a ripe banana.

Bananostriches

Like ostriches, Bananostriches travel in small troops and distances. They can be tamed and ridden like horses when they are calm, as shown by the Strawberries, who are seen riding them in several scenes.

Trivia

• Their heads resemble dolphins, as do the sounds they make.
• The Bananostrich, much like many of the Foodimals, is also a parodic call back to Jurassic Park films, with it's behavior and locomotion very similar to the Gallimimus in those movies.
